To Pass an inspection it is firstly necessary to carry out a risk assessment of all the relevant areas of the ship. It is then necessary to prepare a control scheme which will include monitoring procedures and control measures. This scheme will then need to be reviewed on a regular basis to make sure that the control measures that are being applied are being effective.
